University of Huddersfield – Science Labs

About this project

The Science labs requited significant plant at roof level and so we designed, supplied and installed a hot melt roofing system to provide a robust covering.

However, for lift shafts and stair cores we designed out the hot melt and switched to single ply membrane which removed the need for complicated access arrangements.

The cladding packages consisted of composite panels at roof level, vertically laid standing seam at 3 different cover widths, and natural stone cladding, all of which complimented each other once completed.

Powder coated aluminium capping features were installed to finish the wall details.
